Before sleep
Darkness of night
with open eyes -
Just the faintest shapes
in elusive grays.
Time to rework memories:
Patient figures choreographed
by wishful thinking
and lingering embarrassments.
Darkness of night
with open eyes.
Time to restore the past
to what it should have been.
Revisit the first lover
with the wisdom
and pleasure
of hindsight.
Long to be a gracious you
with quick response
a certain smile
unruled, unimpressed,
liberating.
In the darkness of night:
Time to contemplate
retrospect’s desperate demands.
Envy dreams!
Creatures themselves
freely traveling,
as fictions,
the solitary past.

TASTE OF DEEP
A swaying horizon
Water without temperature
With a pinch of salt
Under yellowed cotton sky
A slow but steady sinking
Into Infinite Home
Kisses of fish
No need for eyes
Finally!
All sound is interior
All senses inward
The expanse is inside
Travel there!
Distance is irrelevant
Un-measurable even
Is cold, numb,
And falling off
The gravity of moon
Is under all the water
Crushed and gentle
Soft as feathers
Sleep there
In the rawest form
Dream of things to come
To crawl onto the shore
To fly, leave
To gather all that is to know
Bring it back
Join and forget once more

This is my new book. It contains 17 poems, 7 of those are in the english language. It also contains 16 Illustrations, mostly by American Artists:
Sandra Cohen , Jennifer Hill , Phillip Dvorak , John Nikolai . It also has two collaborations between my daughter and myself in it!
